Our Pound Cakes are prepared fresh and shipped 1-2 day shipping directly to the destination of your choice. PLEASE ALLOW 5-7 DAYS from the date of purchase for your order to be shipped. Our cakes are specifically packaged and shipped frozen but may thaw during transit.

Although we have instituted best practices to reduce the risk of shipping frozen food around the country, some things are unfortunately outside of our control like the weather and transit delays once the package has been shipped. As such, the shipping guidelines published on this website are not guarantees of a shipping or arrival date.

Shugg's Foods is unable to guarantee time of delivery, as this is all subject to the local carrier. Most carriers will deliver packages anytime between 8am-8pm. If you are placing an order for a time-sensitive occasion, we recommend placing your order early so that it will arrive 1-2 days prior to your special day. Our products can be frozen or refrigerated upon arrival to preserve freshness. On some occasions (like holidays) or during times of high traffic volume, we may have your product arrive earlier than requested to ensure that it arrives in tip top condition. In this case, simply place the product in the freezer until needed.

Shugg's Foods is not responsible for delays in transit caused by high package volume, weather, mechanical error, strikes, natural disasters, terrorism safety control, local carrier mis-scans or inaccurate/incomplete shipping information, and we do not require a signature for the release of any shipment. Leaving a package at an address is ultimately up to the complete discretion of the individual delivery person and is therefore entirely outside our control. Shugg's Foods does not require a signature for the delivery of its packages.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all shipping information is correct prior to placing an order as well as in their order confirmation email. If you need to modify the delivery address once your order has shipped, a $15 address change processing fee will apply to your order. Once an address modification is requested, carriers require one business day to process the change, which may delay the package. Shugg's Foods is not responsible for delays in transit caused by address modification.

All products should be stored in the refrigerator or freezer upon arrival.
• This cake was prepared fresh and shipped directly from our bakery. Please enjoy within 1 week of arrival if not frozen.
• For maximum enjoyment, please remove the cake from your refrigerator and allow it to reach room temperature before serving.
• If frozen, allow the product to thaw completely prior to serving.
• This product is best when stored in an air tight container.
• Please enjoy within 7 days if stored at room temperature in an air tight container or 14 days if refrigerated.
• This product can be stored in your freezer for up to 3 months.

There are no returns, refunds or cancellations allowed on any orders that have shipped. However, we are committed to satisfying every customer as best we can. Although we cannot accept returns, we will be happy to do whatever it takes to make it right.

All packages are shipped via UPS or FedEx 1-2 days and therefore we cannot ship to P.O. Box addresses.
Our cakes are baked fresh in small batches. Please allow 5-7 days for your order to be shipped.
